Catholic School Self Review Framework

This free Catholic School Self-Review Framework is a comprehensive tool designed to help Catholic schools evaluate and enhance their effectiveness in fulfilling the Church's mission in education. It provides clear descriptors for what constitutes 'Requires Improvement,' 'Good,' and 'Outstanding' practice across three key areas: Catholic Life and Mission, Religious Education, and Collective Worship. Each area examines outcomes, provision, and leadership, covering aspects such as pupils' spiritual development, staff formation, chaplaincy, community relationships, Catholic Social Teaching, curriculum quality, and worship life. The framework promotes reflective self-evaluation, guiding schools to celebrate strengths, identify areas for growth, and ensure that Catholic identity and Gospel values are authentically lived throughout the school community.

Schools can use this framework as a standalone paper-based tool, or integrate it into our Flourish Quality Assurance software to record, analyse, and track trends across classes and departments using heat maps and other advanced reporting features.
