This free Trust Quality Descriptors Framework helps trusts evaluate and strengthen their performance across the key areas that underpin a successful multi-academy trust. It provides a structured way to reflect on practice, identify priorities, and track improvement over time.
The framework is organised into five themes, each covering the critical aspects of trust effectiveness. Within each theme are a number of focus areas that describe what high-quality practice looks like.
Trusts can use the framework to support self-evaluation, strategic planning, and quality assurance across their schools.
Use this framework to carry out effective self-reviews and provide evidence-based feedback.
